Construction Manager
Job Description :
Summary
Schedules, coordinates, and oversees construction of multiple single-family homes simultaneously including but not limited to scheduling of sub-contractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and inspecting all work during construction to ensure quality and compliance with plans and specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages construction from permit to completion, including inspections.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and other stakeholders.
- Orders labour and materials promptly based on manufacturing and installation schedules, coordinating delivery/pick-up and according to budget.
- Maintains construction schedule and tracking system, reporting project status in person or via written reports/correspondence from all phases.
- Ensures compliance with Safety Practices, enforces safety recommendations, and promotes workplace safety.
- Conducts checklists and reports to manage construction components under their authority.
- Ensures high-quality work and client satisfaction through managing resources and documentation.
- Ensures process compliance and maintains a clean subdivision in holding subcontractors accountable.
- Monitoring and quality control on-site; resolving punch lists and potential concerns
- Ensures all 3rd party/Client/Self inspections are performed and passed management.
- Verifies completed homes for cleanliness, completeness, and standards before homeowner inspection.
- Assisted with Client orientation/walk-through.
- Completes all other allocated responsibilities.
- Ensures warranty on completed projects.
